Personal Work for Therapist Workshop with Narina Sidhu

Attending the workshop on personal work was a transformative experience. Time flowed seamlessly as we were expertly held by Narina. At the end of those three days, I felt kilos lighter.

One of my most profound experiences was delving into the depths of my being and connecting with my inner child. I unearthed issues of shame and abandonment that had long been buried within me. I realized that I had been trying to escape certain aspects of myself, and through grace and self-acceptance, I began integrating these parts of me with compassion.

One of the most powerful lessons I learned was that therapists, just like our clients, are constantly evolving and growing. We too have our own struggles and shadows to confront, and it is through facing our own "shit" that we can truly help others heal. This realization expanded my head and heart, fostering a deeper sense of empathy and understanding within me.

Since attending the workshop, others have noticed a significant change in me. I am more present, calm, and joyful, able to hold space and navigate challenging conversations with ease. My relationship with myself has blossomed through daily self-care and self-affirmation rituals. I have less guilt in hitting the pause button, relishing in both the beauty and complexity of the world around me.

My relationships with my family, especially with my husband and children, have strengthened. At work, I have gained the confidence to set boundaries and ask for what I need. Connecting with the community of therapists who are open to hard questions has been incredibly inspiring.

Overall, this workshop has been a wonderful journey of growth and self-discovery, reshaping not just my professional identity but my entire way of being in the world. I highly recommend all therapists who are serious about helping their clients to do personal work with Narina.
