How do I know if therapy is right for me?

You do not need to be in crisis to seek counselling. Many people come because they are facing relationship difficulties, life transitions, stress, grief, or simply wish to better understand themselves and their relationships. If you are unsure, feel free to reach out and we can help you determine whether counselling may be helpful.

How do our therapists work with clients?

Our therapists work within the Multigenerational Family Therapy approach developed by Prof. Dr. Maurizio Andolfi.

During the first few sessions, we take time to understand not only the difficulties that have brought you to therapy, but also the relationships, experiences, and family stories that have shaped your life. We believe that many of our struggles are best understood within the context of our important relationships and the generations that came before us.

As therapy progresses, we work together to identify meaningful goals and explore new ways of relating to ourselves and others. Depending on your needs, this may involve addressing past hurts, strengthening important relationships, or developing healthier patterns for the future.

Our aim is not simply to reduce symptoms, but to promote lasting change by helping individuals, couples, and families build stronger, more fulfilling relationships across generations.

Do you provide online counselling?

Yes. We offer both in-person and online counselling sessions.

What languages do you offer counselling in?

Our team provides counselling across a range of languages, including English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, and Cantonese, with conversational support available in Japanese. If you have a preferred language, please let us know and we will do our best to connect you with a suitable therapist.

We bring in interpreters and cultural mediators when needed, enabling us to support individuals, couples, and families from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Do you provide psychological assessments?

Yes. We have Clinical Psychologists who provide psychological assessments for a range of concerns in both children and adults. If you are considering an assessment for yourself or a family member, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to discuss your needs and guide you through the process.

Do you provide psychiatric services?

Yes. We have a Psychiatrist on our team and are able to provide psychiatric consultations and prescribe medication when needed.

We believe in an integrated approach to care, where medication and therapy can complement one another to support healing and well-being. While medication can help alleviate symptoms and create greater stability, therapy provides an opportunity to address underlying difficulties and foster lasting change.

Our professionals work collaboratively to ensure that each person receives the support that is most appropriate for their needs.

What are the fees?

Fees ranging from RM200 to RM450 per session depending on the type of therapy and the therapist you choose.

Sessions are usually 60 to 90 minutes in length.

What if financial constraints make counselling difficult for me?

We believe that financial difficulties should not prevent people from seeking help. If cost is a concern, please complete our Therapy Assistance Application Form and our team will review your request.
