About the event
In this session, you will explore couples therapy through a systemic lens, gaining insights into how past experiences, family dynamics, and cultural influences shape current relationship patterns. Narina's family therapy approach looks beyond simple communication issues and considers all the forces that impact a couple's life, including children, in-laws, extended families, work pressure, and culture.
Through this lens, you will learn new skills to help couples cultivate more secure relationships, including gaining insight into each other's needs and wants and learning better ways to communicate and resolve conflicts. This session is useful for any therapist or counsellor looking to deepen their understanding of couples therapy and improve their ability to help couples thrive. And it is also helpful for anyone looking to improve their own relationships and the relationships of the people around them.
With over 20 years in the field, Narina has received ten years of advanced training in family therapy with renowned Professor Maurizio Andolfi. Narina's extensive experience and training allow her to help therapists and counsellors gain new insights and practical skills to help their clients. Her compassionate and client-centred approach will equip you to navigate couples' challenges in a way that fosters deeper understanding, connection, and healing.
